Rick has served faithfully on Indian River Habitat’s Special Events Committee for many years. He is known for his woodworking talent and creative ability as evidenced by the dozens of projects he has designed and built for Habitat events. In addition, Rick also serves our community as an active member and President of the Exchange Club of Vero Beach for 2021.
Rick is a Portfolio Marketing Senior Manager – ENOVIA for Dassault Systems. Rick is a University of South Florida alumnus and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics and Naval Architecture.
Rick and his wife, Susan, are longtime residents of Vero Beach.
Linda Faust grew up in South Florida and spent weekends and vacations in Vero for about 50 years. As recent empty nesters, Linda and her husband moved to Vero in 2021 from California.
Linda attended the University of Florida for undergrad and then went to Emory for medical school. After her pediatric residency in Los Angeles, Linda returned to Atlanta to work in Pediatrics at Emory, which is where she met her husband, Boyd. Linda and Boyd have been married for 25 years and share two daughters, Carter, and Hallie.
Linda enjoys home projects and renovations, beach walks, hiking, reading, and watching college football.
Linda and her husband and have supported Habitat for many years and believe strongly in its mission and values.
Dr. Terri A. Graham is a seasoned educator with over 28 years of instructional and administrative experience in all sectors of public and higher education. She has an extensive background connecting workforce education certificates and degrees to the economic development of the community as well as building articulation partnerships with universities and school districts. Dr. Graham earned both Bachelor and Master degrees in Elementary Education from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.
Dr. Graham has a Master of Business Administration with a double concentration in Management and Marketing from Rollins College. She also has a Doctor of Education degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Florida.
Dr. Graham has taught across all genres, including elementary, middle, and college level students. She also worked as a market development specialist in the business sector. She has extensive experience in various higher education administrative roles, which include Director of Workforce Program Development at Florida State College at Jacksonville for over ten years, Dean of Academic Foundations at Seminole State College for five years, Executive Dean of Valencia’s Winter Park Campus for four years and two years as the Interim Campus President for Valencia’s West and Downtown Campuses.
She is currently the Campus President for the Mueller Campus in Vero Beach at Indian River State College.
Dr. Graham serves on numerous boards in Indian River County. She has a passion for serving others by focusing on improving the education, health, and economic development of the community.
Doug Vitunac, J.D, is an attorney at Collins Brown Barkett, where he practices civil litigation and land use law.
Doug is a graduate of The University of Florida and Florida Coastal School of Law. During law school, Doug gained valuable legal experience as an intern in the offices of the Honorable Linnea R. Johnson, U.S. Magistrate Judge, and U.S. District Court in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Being a Vero Beach native, and completing all schooling in the sunshine state, Doug is a proud Floridian and has a great deal of hometown pride.
Bob Bauchman is the former president of Wilmington Trust’s Florida market, overseeing wealth advisory services in the region.
In addition to serving on Indian River Habitat’s board of directors, Bob also serves as co-chair of the board of directors for the Boys and Girls Club of Indian River County.
Bob holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Xavier University and a Master’s Degree in International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. In total, Bob has more than 40 years of experience in wealth advisory.
Bob and his wife Maureen, who is also actively engaged in serving her community, live in Vero Beach.
Martin grew up in Vero Beach. He attended St Helen Catholic School and is a graduate of Vero Beach High School.
Martin graduated with a BS degree in Finance from the University of Alabama. After graduation he went to work for Parisian Stores (A 40 store regional department store chain) in Birmingham Alabama. Martin worked for Parisian for 25 years. He held various positions as an Apparel Buyer and then in management as The Director of Financial Planning.
Martin met his wife Renee in college. They were married in 1988 and have 3 Children Ryan, Sydney and Ali.
In 2008 Martin came home to Vero Beach to join the family business, The Beach Shop.
He is active on the board of directors of the Oceanside Business Association and has served as Vice President for several years.
Martin and Renee are active members at St. Helen Catholic Church.
Martin is on the Board of Directors at The Food Pantry of Indian River County.
Doug has been a long-time supporter of Indian River Habitat’s mission; his first term on Indian River Habitat’s Board was in 2013, and has returned to serve another term.
Doug is President of DLF International and DLF Packing, a family-owned Florida citrus business where Doug works alongside his wife, Melanie. Doug is an alumnus of Florida Southern College where he specialized in studying business and the citrus industry.
Doug and Melanie have two children, and are members of St. Augustine of Canterbury Episcopal Church.
Bethany spent her 40-year career in the field of real estate development with a primary focus on affordable multi-family housing. She currently owns and operates a 70-unit affordable apartment community for seniors, aged 62 and older, in Sebastian, Florida, which she developed in 1997 with Low-Income Housing Tax Credits.
In addition to serving on the Board of Directors for Indian River Habitat for Humanity, she is also a member of the Planning Board for the City of Vero Beach and serves on the Board of Directors of Indian River County Military Officers Association of America. She was a proud member of the WWII Tribute Team, which resulted in permanent parade stand that pays tribute to our WWII Veterans at Veterans Memorial Island Sanctuary in Vero Beach. In addition, she is an active member of the U.S. Navy League Treasure Coast Council, the Republican Women of Indian River, and the Taxpayers Association of Indian River County.
She and her husband, Dr. Michael Fortunato, a Navy Veteran and retired Family Physician, are very proud to call Vero Beach home and have become actively involved in giving back to the community since moving here in 2020. They have five adult children, six grandchildren, and a labrador named Maxwell Smart.
Pat Gorman recently retired as the Head Golf Professional at the Bent Pine Golf Club in Vero Beach. During his 38 seasons at Bent Pine he has mentored numerous assistant golf professionals of which 25 are now Head Professionals or Directors of Instruction around the country.
Pat was named the PGA Golf Professional of the Year for the Southeast Chapter of the South Florida Section in 2005 and was also the recipient of the PGA South Florida Section’s Bill Strausbaugh Award in 2012.
Pat and his wife Holly have three children: Patrick (29), Jackson (28), and Megan (25). Pat is originally from Marshfield, Wisconsin and is University of Alabama graduate.
Glenn Grevengoed learned to practice law in Chicago. He began his career in 1986 as an Assistant Attorney General at the Illinois Attorney General’s office. He entered private practice in 1990. Practicing in downtown Chicago, he had offices at 150 N. Michigan Avenue and 77 W. Wacker Drive.
Immediately before moving to Vero Beach in 2003, Glenn worked for a Chicago based charitable foundation, The Barnabas Foundation, focusing on high-end estate planning for charitable donors across the country.
Throughout his career, Glenn has been actively involved in community service, serving on over 20 boards of various charities and civic organizations. In Vero Beach, he has held leadership positions in several local organizations, including past board presidencies of the Planned Giving Council of Indian River, The Exchange Club of Vero Beach, Carenet of Indian River County, BNI, and Toastmasters.
Currently, Glenn serves on the boards of the Planned Giving Council of Indian River and Indian River Habitat for Humanity. He is currently serving on advisory boards for Carenet of Indian River County, Allied Partners in Philanthropy for the Cleveland Clinic Indian River Foundation, The VNA and Hospice Foundation Planned Giving Advisory Board and The Women’s Refuge advisory board. He was ordained as a deacon at Pullman Christian Reformed Church on January 3, 1988 snf ordained as an Elder in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church on February 16, 1996. He has been serving in that capacity in one church, church plant or another since then. Since 2005, he has been Clerk of Session for Christ the King Presbyterian Church in Vero Beach. Glenn has been married to his wife Mariel for over 35 years. They have three grown children, Dania, Lincoln and Carissa.
Professionally, he is a member of the Indian River County, Florida, and Illinois State Bar Associations. He is admitted to practice in all Florida and Illinois State and Federal Courts, He is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, The Seventh Circuit Federal Court of Appeals, and is a member of the Federal Trial Bar for the Northern District of Illinois. While Glenn has retained his Illinois License to practice law, his practice is currently exclusively in Florida.
Wilfred Hart is the Community Liaison Specialist for the School District of Indian River County (IRC).
An IRC resident for more than 40 years, Mr. Hart is a fixture in our community. He is a deacon of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Gifford, and he serves on numerous boards, including Treasure Coast Community Health, Mental Health Association of IRC, Youth Sailing Foundation, and the Hart and Soul Foundation. He is an ambassador for the Sebastian Area Chamber of Commerce, and is a founder of The Women in Red with Pink, which recognizes those with cancer and promotes awareness of cancer.
Mr. Hart is a proud graduate of Bethune Cookman University, where he earned a BS in Business Administration.
He retired from K-Mart with 38 years of retail management, and now proudly serves the School District of Indian River County, where he works to promote community engagement and supports education enrichment throughout the district.
He lives in Indian River County with his wife, Dorothy. Wilfred is a proud father and grandfather, and an avid traveler and sports fan.
Dave has been in the banking and investment business for the last 24 years. He is currently Vice President and Financial Advisor at Northern Trust.
He graduated with a B.S in Finance from Indiana University and holds several industry designations including the CFP®.
Dave is an active member at First Baptist Church where he serves on the personnel and stewardship committees.
Starting in 2018, teaching his 5-year-old son’s Sunday school class will become a regular event. With a passion for music, he also serves on the executive committee for the Indian River Symphonic Association as treasurer.
He has two children and when time permits you can find him coaching his son’s soccer team, sitting in an auditorium watching his daughter dance, fishing in the river and very occasionally on the golf course.
Dave has lived in Vero Beach for 6 years and moved to Florida in 1997.
Sherri Kolodziejczak is an audit partner with Dean & Kolodziejczak, PLLC, specializing in audit and consulting for not-for-profits. She has 30 years of experience in the accounting profession.
Sherri is a CPA and CGMA and holds both Master of Accounting and Bachelor of Accounting degrees from Florida International University. She is a member of the AICPA and FICPA.
In addition to serving on Indian River Habitat’s board of directors, Sherri also serves on the Grant Review and Program Subcommittee of the Children’s Services Advisory Committee (CSAC) of Indian River County. Sherri continues to serve intermittently as a panel member and financial analyst for local funding organizations.
Sherri and her husband Paul moved to Vero Beach in 1993 and have raised their three children here.
David Sommers retired as CFO of NetScout Systems in Massachusetts after a career in the information technology industry, including 23 years at IBM in sales and finance. His first involvement with Habitat was as a sponsor of NetScout’s company support of Habitat in Lowell, Massachusetts, participating in company build days. A graduate of Harvard and NYU’s Stern School of Business, David served four years in the US Navy. He and wife, Heidi Hild, have two daughters, who live and work in the Boston area, and one very special grand-daughter.
David and Heidi moved to Rhode Island and Vero Beach in 2015 and joined The Moorings Club and the Moorings members’ Habitat Weekend Committee. They have been involved with Moorings fund raising for Indian River Habitat since.
David is a vegetable gardener, an amateur historian, a radio boat sailor, and enjoys golf, pickleball and daily walks. He has been leading an effort in Rhode Island to restore Gould Island in Narragansett Bay for public recreation.
Prior to joining Indian River Habitat, Trevor Loomis served as Director of Homebuyer Services at Habitat for Humanity of Metro Louisville, Kentucky. In addition to his previous Habitat for Humanity experience, Loomis also brings with him his experience as Housing Manager over home repair at Louisville, KY Metro Government, as well as experience gained while on staff with the Louisville Coalition for the Homeless. Areas of knowledge and expertise include land acquisition, construction, and mortgage lending experience. He holds a Master of Arts degree in Anthropology from the University of Louisville and an MBA from Bellarmine University.
Loomis, a US veteran, served 9 years with the US Army, deployed three times to Iraq and Afghanistan. Serving his country and community have strongly influenced his life.
About relocating to Vero Beach with his wife, Martha, and their 3 sons, ages 6, 8 and eleven, Loomis says, “the mission of Habitat allows me to serve the community in which my family now lives, and to put God’s love into action by using the power of home to change lives.”

Barbara joined Indian River Habitat for Humanity in March 2017.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the State University of New York, has over 20 years of experience in accounting and administration, and has worked in industries that include commercial and industrial real estate, economic development, and the nonprofit sector.
Barbara is originally from upstate New York and moved to Sebastian, FL with her husband and two children in 1997.

As Chief Strategy Officer, Jeff leads the strategic planning process and works on special projects to ensure that Habitat meets and exceeds its long-term goals. He cultivates collaboration and continues to drive government relations and advocacy efforts.
From 2019 to 2024, Jeff was the Director of Outreach and Impact where he developed personal relationships with Indian River Habitat families in their journey to homeownership. His role uniquely equipped him to authentically tell the story of Habitat’s impact in Indian River County. It also made him very aware of the depth and magnitude of the need in the community. In his new role, Jeff is well-positioned to advocate and creatively craft solutions to meet the needs.
He attended Asbury College in Kentucky and graduated from the University of Indiana with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. During the first 20 years of his career, Jeff worked with his father, building Frisco Food Service, a wholesale restaurant brokerage. Later, Jeff joined the University of Kentucky as a Director of Development.
Jeff has been married to Dana Medlock for 40 years. They have one daughter, Katie, who lives in Lincoln, Nebraska. Jeff and Dana moved to Vero Beach to be closer to Dana’s parents in Titusville, where Dana grew up.
Jeff came to Indian River Habitat for the opportunity to help people; to love and care for them; to not only contribute to their lives, but to also know and learn from them.

Jay Needham is the Chief Development Officer at Indian River Habitat for Humanity, a role he has embraced since August 2024. In this position, Jay leads the organization’s fundraising and development efforts, leveraging his extensive background in nonprofit management to drive impactful community initiatives and advance the mission of providing affordable housing.
Prior to joining Indian River Habitat for Humanity, Jay served as the Executive Director for The Salvation Army in Vero Beach, FL, where he successfully managed and expanded local operations. His experience also includes serving as the Regional Director of Leadership Development for The Salvation Army in Kentucky and Tennessee. In these roles, Jay honed his skills in strategic planning, leadership development, and donor relations, contributing to the growth and effectiveness of the organizations he served.
Jay’s leadership is characterized by his strategic vision, collaborative approach, and unwavering commitment to community service. His efforts are focused on enhancing the organization’s outreach, building strong partnerships, and ensuring the successful delivery of Habitat for Humanity’s programs.
Outside of his professional life, Jay enjoys ocean and beach activities with his wife, Heather and their two children.

Karyn Bryant, Neighborhood Revitalization Director at Habitat for Humanity, is a passionate advocate for transforming communities. Karyn spearheads initiatives that revitalize underprivileged neighborhoods. She engages residents, fosters collaboration, and empowers communities to create vibrant and inclusive spaces.

She holds an AS in Business Administration degree from Indian River State College and serves on the leadership team at Indian River Habitat for Humanity.
Her motto is “Everything that happens, happens through relationship.” Karyn loves building relationships with homeowners, vendors, non-profits, and veterans in Indian River County to ensure affordable critical home repairs.
Outside of Habitat, Karyn is an ordained minister and pastors a local church. She is originally from Connecticut and lives in Sebastian, FL with her husband. Karyn has 4 children and 5 grandchildren whom she adores.

Charlie Shain’s journey at Indian River Habitat began 9 years ago at the ReStore. After a year as ReStore Warehouse Assistant, Charlie transitioned to a role on the Construction Team as Field Supervisor.
Having always enjoyed “tinkering,” as he puts it, working in construction aligned well with Charlie’s background and interests. He’d always enjoyed woodworking, recalling his time as a carpenter’s apprentice early on in his career.
For Charlie, Habitat’s mission is more than just a job. “Working with our families is so meaningful; I can’t think of any other job in the field of construction that runs parallel to this.”
In 2017, Charlie became Construction Supervisor of Habitat’s affordable home repairs program. Recently, he was named Director of Construction, joining Indian River Habitat’s leadership team. As Director of Construction, Charlie coordinates and supervises all aspects of new construction, home repair, and home rehabilitation program operations.
“I feel as though I’ve loved my job for so long, that it truly loves me back.”
The outdoors is not just Charlie’s office at Habitat, but also the venue where many of his favorite hobbies take place. When he is not working, Charlie enjoys softball, baseball, golf, and running marathons.
