Orchid Island-Habitat Partnership Celebrated at Garden Party

Established in 2001 at the prompting of Orchid Island Club members, Mary and Michael Schwartz, the Orchid Island-Habitat partnership continues to bring residents and club members together to help qualifying families achieve the dream of homeownership. Armando Magallon, whose future home’s construction is being sponsored by Orchid Island, expressed his gratitude for the community’s generosity saying, “I don’t have the words to say how thankful I am. I’m just trying to raise my kids so they can have the dream I never had. I want my kids to have the life I wish I could have had.
