Ronnie, an employee at New Vision Eye Center, took the first step toward homeownership Saturday morning as she joined volunteers to raise the walls of her future Habitat home. Surrounded by her daughters and supported by Indian River Habitat for Humanity volunteers, the emotional wall-raising marked the beginning of a new chapter built on hard work, hope and community support.
