Safe, stable housing and continuing education are the foundational elements in Habitat’s approach to uplifting the lives of the hard-working individuals in Indian River County.
Over the twenty-six years of the Partnership between The Moorings and Indian River Habitat, the Partnership has contributed over $12.3 million and thousand of volunteer hours to Indian River Habitat. The Moorings has funded 96 new homes and 128 home repairs.
Major donors and Moorings Habitat Partnership Committee members were recognized at a recent Appreciation Luncheon at the Moorings Yacht and Country Club to thank them for their efforts in raising $800,000 to support Indian River Habitat for Humanity.
Habitat homebuyer Sarah Robatcek shared her story and thanked everyone on behalf of all the homebuyers.
