As one of three panelists during the United Way’s final Powered by Purpose event this season, Trevor Loomis, President and CEO of Indian River Habitat for Humanity, discussed the impact that the growing housing crisis is having on working families in Indian River County. Shawna Carroll, a Habitat homebuyer, described the difficulties created by increasing rental and grocery costs.
