Five Day Fundraising Event

In 1999, the Moorings community held its first Classic Weekend in support of Indian River Habitat for Humanity. In that inaugural year, the Moorings raised enough funds to build the Moorings sponsored Habitat for Humanity home. This year, they raised over $800,000 over five days, generating resources that will work to build six new homes, repair an additional 15 homes, and provide 15 scholarships for Habitat homeowners and/or their dependents.
