Since 1991, Indian River Habitat for Humanity has worked diligently toward breaking biases and empowering women in the hope of creating a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive world.

At Indian River Habitat, 77% of the families served are female-headed households. Due to this majority, we place a special emphasis on equipping women, and their children, with the necessary tools to build brighter, safer communities while demolishing barriers and stereotypes along the way.
