Since 1999, the Moorings Habitat Classic Weekend annual fundraising event has grown steadily with an expanded number of activities to include bridge, croquet, golf, mahjongg, pickleball, putt-putt golf, tennis, and fitness.
The five-day fundraising event concluded with a big party celebration where more than 350 guests enjoyed an evening of cocktails, dinner while participating in a silent and live auctions and a raffle.
A total of $12.3 million has been raised by The Moorings community to benefit Indian River Habitat’s mission of providing local families affordable new homes, critical home repairs and financial assistance for Habitat homeowners and/or their dependents through Habitat’s Scholarship Program.
