Andrew Bowler

Andy spent 30 years
in the coal mining business in England, Canada, and finally the U.S.
beginning in 1982. Thirteen years of his coal career were with British
Petroleum (BP) followed by seven years as an independent coal
consultant. Prior to leaving the coal industry, he was President of a
coal mining company in western Pennsylvania. A desire to do something
more significant with his life led Andy to Vero Beach in August of 2000
to join Indian River Habitat as its first executive director. Andy
obtained a B.S. in Geology at the University of London.
