John grew
up and was educated in Boston, MA. After earning a degree in
mechanical engineering he worked as a tool and dye maker. John
progressed from there to tool design and then spent 18 years in
research and development with Duracell, as a senior product
development engineer. His endeavors yielded five US patents and
three European patents.
John and
his wife, Julie took advantage of a recent reorganization at
Duracell to retire and relocate to Vero Beach, FL. John’s outdoor
interests include antiques, photography, and canoeing.
