Our Track Record
With the help of countless donors and volunteers, Indian River Habitat
for Humanity has provided affordable, home ownership opportunities in
Indian River County since 1992.
In January 2005, we began construction of our 100th home. We are
currently ranked 8th out of 1,700 affiliates in the world for the
number of homes constructed.
Indian River Habitat is producing the largest number of homes
on the east coast of Florida between
Jacksonville and Miami, and we are ranked 7th in Florida for the number
of homes built.
All Habitat affiliates are asked to tithe 10% of their unrestricted revenues to
another affiliate in a developing country. Indian River Habitat is
currently 1st in the world for the amount tithed. All contributions are
sent to our sister affiliate in Romania.
