Sponsoring a Habitat house is a wonderful way to connect to all levels of Habitat's work. Ideally, the sponsoring group raises the necessary funds, volunteers on site to build the home, and offers moral support to the family purchasing the house. Currently, a full-house sponsorship fee is $50,000. Half-houses may be sponsored for $25,000 and homes that are being rehabbed by IRHFH may be sponsored for a fee of just $20,000.
Another way for businesses to sponsor a Habitat house is through the Community Contribution Tax Credit Program (CCTCP). This is an exiciting way for Florida entities incurring sales, corporate income, or insurance premium tax to turn those funds into donations for Habitat. It sounds so easy...because it is. Call today to find out how your business can finance a Habitat house with just 200 hours of volunteer time and $0 investment.
Many sponsorship opportunities are available. For more information on house sponsorships, please contact Peggy Gibbs at 772-562-9860 x 209.
