sbaita@irchabitat.orgSam is the fourth generation of her family to live in Indian River County and, after a lot of travelling, moved to Vero Beach with her four children in 1976. In the footsteps of her grandfather and father, she completed a long career in the newspaper business, working for many years as a reporter, feature writer and editor for the Press-Journal. After 11 years as Indian River County Recycling Coordinator and three years working at First Church of God, Sam came to her current position with Habitat in April of 2006. She is honored to work with Habitat's dedicated staff and to be a part of the Habitat mission.
