The Office and Training Center will house the existing staff and enable us to train and educate homeowners and their children in collaboration with other non-profit organizations in Indian River County.
It is anticipated that this wonderful, new space will be ready for a "soft-opening" during late summer, 2011. The grand opening and IRHFH's 20th anniversary celebration will be held on November 17, 2011. This event will include the ribbon cutting ceremony as well as the unveiling of the OTC donor wall and the Cornerstone Donor wall.
Funding of this wonderful new space has been made possible in large part by a very generous bequest to IRHFH, leaving just $500,000 to be raised by other means. We are currently raising a portion of this total through our Deconstruction Program and $250,000 from individual gifts. As of June 23, 2011 $120,400 has been raised through OTC donations.
"Naming Opportunities" in the OTC still exist for gifts between $2,500 and $250,000. Should you wish to make a donation within this range, please contact Peggy Gibbs, CFRE at 772.562.9860 ext. 209. Naming gifts or pledges must be received by July 31, 2011 in order to be recognized on the OTC donor wall at the ribbon cutting ceremony in November. You may make a gift online by clicking here to be taken to a secure online donation page or by mailing a check made payable to Indian River Habitat for Humabity (IRHFH) with OTC noted in the memo section, to 4568 N US Highway 1, Vero Beach, FL 32967.
