Thanks to many generous donors, the OTC is well under way, and a ribbon cutting and grand opening ceremony are scheduled for Nov. 17, 2011. In addition to celebrating the new OTC, this event will celebrate Indian River Habitat for Humanity’s 20th anniversary in Indian River County.
A highlight of this special event will be the unveiling of the Cornerstone Donors wall (individuals who have made cumulative cash contributions of $25,000 or more during the past 20 years) as well as recognition of the community who have generously contributed to the building of our permanent facility.
Naming opportunities for the OTC still exist, and run from $250,000 for the naming rights of the whole building to $2,500 to name a storage room.
We still need to raise $145,000 of our $250,000 fundraising goal. All gifts, large or small, for this important project are welcome: however, to be recognized at the Nov. 17 ribbon cutting ceremony, gifts must be received by IRHFH no later than July 31.
Should you wish to support this endeavor, please mail gifts to Indian River Habitat for Humanity, 4568 N US 1, Vero Beach, FL 32967 and note "OTC" in your check’s memo section.
If you are interested in naming a portion of the building, please contact Development Manager Peggy Gibbs at 772-562-9860, X209.
