Lindsey's career with Habitat for Humanity began in early 2000. She worked with affiliates in Charlotte, NC, and Shelby NC., before moving to Vero Beach in January 2006. Lindsey graduated from Gardner-Webb University in North Carolina, where she earned a degree in psychology and sociology. Her goal in her current position is to truly give Habitat families a "hand up, not a handout," and to "empower them to stand on their own two feet and succeed on their own."
