Born in Hodgenville, Kentucky, Larry graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in business administration and economics. In 1982, he moved to Vero Beach from Rockford, Illinois, with his wife, Judy, and children, Rebecca and Benjamin. After several years in banking, Larry ran his own painting and remodeling business for almost three decades. Currently, the couple owns Trafalgar Square, located in the Village Shops in Indian River Shores.
When not working for Habitat's Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative, Larry enjoys collecting rare books, repairing antique clocks and raising bonsai trees.
Of Habitat, he says, "It is a privilege to work with such dedicated Christian people."
