Before joining Habitat, Kelly was a Senior Asset Manager & Compliance Specialist with Community Affordable Housing Equity Corporation (CAHEC) in Raleigh, NC. While employed by CAHEC, she monitored a portfolio of 20 low-income, rental housing communities for families and senior citizens. Kelly has a degree in Business Administration from Kenan-Flagler Business School at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, as well as a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Duke University. She relocated to Vero Beach after marrying her husband, Louis, who is a native of Vero Beach and runs his family’s gift fruit shipping business, Schacht Groves. The couple have a baby daughter, Hannah.
