|

772-562-9860 X 216 Bill lives in Vero with his wife Joanie and their cat. He has a son and two grandsons. Bill’s first career, with the United States Air Force, spanned 32 years. He was a WW II B-17 bomber pilot, he served in the elite Air Rescue Services, and retired as a Colonel. After his retirement he returned to Vero Beach and worked in real estate and construction. That is how he became involved with Indian River Habitat for Humanity. Bill, along with 3 others, were the founders of this affiliate. Although he insists on taking no credit for its accomplishments, he was instrumental in getting this affiliate established. Bill eats, drinks and sleeps Habitat because he believes so thoroughly in its principles.
